SUMMER DAY CAMP 2012

June 11 - August 24

You don't want to miss this summer!! It's going to be a sizzling, slamming good time!! You'll get wet, you'll get dirty, you'll play games, you'll laugh until your side hurts and MOST important...you'll learn awesome truths about God's word. SIGN UP NOW!!
You can attend 1 week or ALL 10!!! You can even attend just a few days at a time!! Each week will be a different theme focused on a biblical truth. Our activities, games, crafts and fieldtrips will correlate with each theme.
Swimming days will be Tuesday/Thursday. Our staff will notify you of any changes throughout each week.

Registration should be completed and mailed to our office by May 1, 2012 to guarentee your child's enrollment. Anyone registering after that date will be on an "if space available" basis.
Registration Fee:
Registration fee a , non-refundable and DOES NOT come off your first weeks payment.
$10 - 1 to 3 weeks of attendance (one-time fee)
$20 - 4 to 10 weeks of attendance (one-time fee)
Cost:
$100 a week for one child
$175 a week for two children
$255 a week for three children
$25/day (no discount for multiple children)
$30/day on Fieldtrip days (no discount for multiple children)

Mocksville Pick Up/Drop Off - Mocksville pickup/dropoff will be at the Davie County Public Library Parking Lot. It will be on a first come, first serve basis. Please call ASAP to reserve your child's spot on the bus! Morning Pick Up with be 7:45 - 8:00 am and Drop Off will be from 5:15 - 5:30 pm. Location will be at the Mocksville Public Library Parking Lot. There will be an additional $10/week fee for this service.

- Stamp your passport along Paul's Missionary Journeys, no matter where you go, God is with you!!
Week Three (25-29) ULTIMATE SLIME WEEK (Statesville Water Park)
- Don't get slimed by your bad decisions!
Week Four (July 9-13) SAFARI WEEK(N.C. ZOO ** extra $5 charge for this trip)
-Take a safari through the book of Exodus
Week Five (July 16-20) WILD WILD WEST WEEK (Gallop for God - horses)
- Check out the wild ride Joseph took!
Week Six (July 23-27) BEACH WEEK (Statesville Water Park)
- Discover the peace God can bring to your life!
Week Seven (July 30 - Aug 3) WACKY SPORTS WEEK (Woodleaf Bowling Lanes)
- Learn how to develop good character "the Jesus Way"
Week Eight (Aug 6-10) SUPER SCIENCE WEEK (Discovery Place ** extra $5 charge for this week)
- Discover the power of the Ultimate Scientist....GOD!!
Week Nine (Aug 13-17) SUPER SPLASH WEEK Statesville Water Park
- Take a splash through the Gospels...watch out...you'll get wet!!
Week Ten (Aug 20-24) OLYMPIC WEEK (TOURNAMENTS) TBA

NEW IN 2012 - We are almost finished with our ampitheather! It will be completed in July 2012!! It is in a beautiful location by the lake. It will have large grass sections walled by decorative stone and will seat over 400 people! We are hoping to finish our zip line as well, please praywith us!
NEW IN 2011 Swimming Area!!! We have spent the winter doing major upgrades to our lake!! We have graded out a large area to be designated as our swimming area. We've had sand hauled in to provide a beach area and are installing a lifeguard stand. The saturn ball, water trampoline and the "Blob" have been moved and re-anchored!
NEW RECREATION BUIDLING COMPLETE!!! We are very excited to announce that our newest construction project "Recreation Building" is complete. This is our first indoor facility.

History of SUMMER DAY CAMP


In 2006, we hosted our first summer day camp program for grades 1st through 7th. Each year we have seen the Lord bless this ministry through increased attendance and support.
Purpose of SUMMER DAY CAMP
Summer Day Camp provides children the opportunity to explore the Word of God through outdoor activities, crafts, lesson time and team building challenges. Summer Day Camp is designed to meet the needs of a variety of family dynamics. We offer a full summer program which provides parents the comfort of knowing their child can spend their summer in a safe, uplifting and spiritually enriched environment. Our part-time program offers the campers the enjoyment of being involved in an ongoing camp atmosphere throughout the summer with the flexibility of picking and choosing which weeks to attend. We also host several campers who choose to only attend one week. Church groups can take advantage of our group rates by sending a group of 10 or more campers.
