Our History

In 1994 we purchased 39 acres of land, incorporated, zoned the property for recreational facility use and filed and received non-profit status from federal and state.
Over the next few years we have completed a lot of grading work. We purchased an additional 1.7 acres to build an entrance to the property. We were blessed to have over 900 loads of dirt donated to help in this process.
A small pond (approximately one acre) was built to catch run- off water from a small stream. A larger lake, which is approximately 7 acres was also built. A canoe dock was built prior to filling the lake with water. The lake is used for recreational purposes such as canoeing, paddle boating and fishing.
A softball field and soccer field were built in 1998. Currently several groups use our facility for practices including churches, little league teams, AAU softball teams, and Christian Schools.
In 2000, we built our arbor near the lake. It has restrooms and a snack shack which includes a kitchen and storage area. The arbor is utilized by a variety of groups: churches, families, scouts and schools. It is equipped to run sound systems and projector type needs. A local church built and donated heavy duty picnic tables.
We also have an amphitheater with seating for 400+.
Other activities Camp Manna currently has to offer include: a full sized covered basketball court, sand volleyball court, tether ball poles, horseshoe pits, bonfire area, an archery range, and zipline.
